Giving a better user experience to a Birmingham-based music program to match the energy and tenor of the company.
A beloved Birmingham music program like Mason Music needed a website that provided their users quick and easy access to lessons, programs and more while also breathing in some of the life and energy that the company is so known for.
We worked with their team to reimagine their site architecture to break out programs and lessons for easy navigation. We reworked their content to make it easily digestible to the user including adding FAQs and calls to action on every page. We also created a form to easily sign up for music lessons online which helped simplify the process for the client and quickened the process for the user.
Aesthetically, we wanted to play up their bright and fun spirit. Through a juxtaposition of deep, dark hues against bright whites, we created this stark visual contrast that emphasized certain components without weighing the entire site down. We also introduced a secondary light teal color to expand the color palette beyond black and red for more flexibility and easier navigation.
Overall, our goal was to create a website that allows users to navigate through it easily while also digesting information quickly. And to do that in a way that still felt light, fun and energetic - the true tenor of the Mason Music brand.
