Walking in a Printer Wonderland Mini Screenprinting Kits
Why send ornaments when you can screenprint one for yourself?
For Humphries Screen Printing’s holiday client appreciation gift, we decided to change things up a bit. We’ve found over the years that the art of silkscreen is something most people know but not something a lot of people understand. So what better way to show appreciation for our clients and give them a little insight into how it works than creating a mini printing press that allows them to print their own holiday ornament?
For each box, we created mini screens with each client’s logo (and yes, we created these mini screens by pulling the mesh and gluing it on ourselves!), a mini squeegee to pull the ink, a small bottle of their brand color ink, a mini spatula, and a few blank wooden ornaments.
On the inside of the box, we included step-by-step instructions for how to print the logo onto the ornaments. It was a huge hit! The clients loved the interactive element and many admitted they had no idea how it worked until they did it themselves.
